It really helped me to understand the definitions of the vocabulary words when we did the group activities. Hands-on learning is the best approach we this lesson. By the end of the class I know I understood the lesson more than when it started. When class began I had little knowledge about syntax and semantics. I think what helped me most was the word game activity, where we had to make new words.
